Cabin

Anywhere in the Nature 2018

The Cabin is designed to be hidden in the wild nature, far away from the human settlements. It is intended for people who are seeking tranquillity and peace of mind in loneliness. The Cabin consists of two interconnected spaces. The ground floor serves as a shelter and it’s equipped with composting toilet, wood stove, lantern and storage. Due to its movable furniture, the ground floor space can be adjusted according to the visitor’s needs. It impersonates the lair, therefore the only opening is the entrance door. The first floor, accessible by the ladder, is dedicated to meditation and it is a paraphrase to bird’s nest, located in the heights of tree crowns. Through a large window, its interior space opens up to the surrounding nature, allowing the light to come into the Cabin.
